The annual Fall Foliage Tour will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2015. It will depart from the Kings Restaurant at North Towne Square, Gibsonia, PA at 9:15am. This restaurant is located at the intersection of PA-8 and PA-910 about 1.75 miles north of the turnpike interchange.
The first stop in the morning will be at a private antique automobile collection near Evans City, PA. We will then head north and meet up with members of the Lake Erie Mustang Owners Club near Portersville and continue the driving through the covered bridge at McConnells Mill State Park before heading to Moraine State Park and a scenic driving loop. Our typical ‘brown bag’ lunch will be at a pavilion in the park. The afternoon will consist of a scenic ride through Slippery Rock on our way to the Harlansburg Station transportation museum, then continuing on through another covered bridge and ending at Wendell August Forge, where they make fine hand-crafted metal gifts.
Registration is required: Please let Tim know if you are planning to attend the Fall Foliage Tour so he can be sure to arrange proper parking, etc. by sending an email to activities@gpmc.org. You can see the flyer here.
