A great article about the 51-year ago introduction of the Mustang appeared in the January 2015 issue of Hemmings magazine, and is now available online here.  It’s a great story about the marketing wizardry of Lee Iacocca, the New York World’s Fair, and everything that went into making the Mustang America’s “Pony Car” (even though the Barracuda had been introduced a couple weeks earlier.)
