Ed Sarver has arranged with Dr. Regina Hiler, Executive Director of the Butler County Area Vocational - Technical School for a visit for our club on Friday, May 30th, as there were no other dates available in May. In order to interact with all of the students, we would be there from 9 AM until 2 PM.
We would interact with the first group of students at 9 am, a second group at 11 am, and a third group at 1 pm. The culinary students will provide a lunch at a modest cost, but Ed will need to know if there are any dietary restrictions for those going, (email him directly at esarv@zoominternet.net).
We will need to limit the number of cars to 15, due to limited parking spaces at the school, members will have to register for this event. They will have a covered area for 3 - 4 cars to be inside in case of rain. We would be focusing on the auto technology and collision repair areas in the school. There may be time to tour other areas of the school, but not a definite as of this posting.
We will gather at 8:15 AM in Cranberry in the rear lot of the Cracker Barrel, to travel to Butler (approximately 30 minutes). You can arrive earlier for breakfast if you so choose. Ed will lead the group, but here is the address if you want to put it into your GPS: 210 Campus Lane, Butler Senior High School, Butler, PA 16001.
Dr. Hiler said the teachers and students are excited about having us visit, and the opportunity to see the cool Mustangs that we bring.
