The Greater Pittsburgh Mustang Club helped to promote the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix at the World of Wheels in January at the David Lawrence Convention Center.
The weekend before the races, racing fans went to the Pittsburgh International Race Complex for the PVGP Historics, held July 13-14.
As the countdown to Race Weekend continued, members participated in many other Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix events, starting with the Kick-off Rallye on Sunday, July 14th.
We were pleased to have a strong showing Monday evening at the Walnut Street Invitational Car Show.
On Tuesday, Mustangs were proudly displayed at the Waterfront Car Cruise.
Wednesday found many GPMC members participating in the Downtown Parade and Car Display.
Thursday a small group of us went on the Countryside Tour.
Race weekend, July 20-21, featured an impressive display of Mustangs from all eras.
At the check presentation ceremony in October, the GPMC was presented with a plaque for our hard work and contributions.
