Tim the Tour Man came through again, with a great Summer Tour, travelling to the Flight 93 Memorial in Stoystown, then to the Quecreek Mine Rescue Site, then dinner at Coal Miners Cafe in Jennerstown, wrapping up the day’s events with a stop at the Jennerstown Speedway. Tim even managed to work in a stop at the Original Pie Shop.
After the heat races, GPMC members were able to drive onto the track for a parade lap, then park in the infield. At that point, they had a brief tour of the pits then returned to the grandstands to watch the evening’s feature racing. At the conclusion of the feature races, members again crossed the track and got to run some fast laps.
Tim had his camera at the ready and captured these great shots, along with descriptions of each one. Thanks, Tim!
