September 10, 2017,  from Charlyn Mulkey:  After her Florida trip was cancelled because of Hurricane Irma, Lisa Fricke entered the Northeastern Ohio Mustang Club big show in Akron, Ohio.  She won 2nd place which was judged by MCA rules.

Today in Huntington, WVa., Dwight’s and Mary’s 1990 McLaren earned its’ “Original” award badge  in the “Historical Preservation of Original Features” class with the Antique Automobile Club of America.  The car (and Dwight) gathered a lot of attention at this National Spring Meet.   The car was evaluated by a team of expert judges and was found to be correct and all original (unrestored).  Click on his hyperlink and read what was written by Mike James of the Daily Independent:  http://www.dailyindependent.com/car-show/image_d9a3737e-430f-11e7-bafb-fb6a508b4fe1.html

The GPMC was again well represented at the 2016 Mt. Lebanon Police Department Car Show.   Winners shown above:  GPMC members Jim, Al, Ernie and Dwight; and former GPMC member Bob.

 

 

Also at the 2015 Ford Nationals at Carlisle, Fred’s 1965 Mustang won Best Stock during the Red Mustang Registry awards ceremony.  At the ceremony, he met the original owner of the car.  You can read the story here on page 73: http://issuu.com/stangmagazine/docs/juneone.compressed
